I got my first 4-track, a Vesta Fire model, in 1989. By late ‘95 I had used it so much it was falling apart. So I bought a Fostex and it was so much better. I did all the parts myself. I must have close to 300 songs or whatever you might call them. Sometimes I would just roll the tape to see what I could come up with and then go back and record on the remaining tracks. In the mid 2000s I digitized them so now I can listen to them on my computer or iPad. Now I use a score writer and compose for orchestra and various ensembles.

I just tested this Plugin and could not really figure out what it does at all. Cannot really hear anything unless i increase the input or output volumes

19y/o engineer here 👆, From mixing clients alone I average around £1300-1500 a month & studio sessions are bonuses. This all depends on your reputation, reliability & turnover times. £500 a month is definitely achievable within a 6 month timeframe, so for anybody willing to make money off mixing, keep grinding
